![]() When you go to, the advisor is the FREE DOWNLOAD. The thing to do would be to print the belarc report so that you will have a hard copy of your software licenses. I know it works because I have used it for years and it has saved my behind several times because I don't necessarily have all the original software cases either. It will also include the software keys for the software installed. Run the advisor and it will give you a complete list of the hardware and software in your machine. If you still have access to the internet, go to and download/install the belarc advisor. Also, For whatever reason she tossed the Office case that had the product key, So thats out. ![]() I don't think you can do that for free anymore anyway, and she's finally figured 8 out so I'm just going to leave her with the same thing she knows. ![]() Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? And, no I'm not going to upgrade it to 10. I've never upgraded anything besides 10, So I have no idea how well it works on 8.1 as far as licenses.
